Our Vision
The main feature of our vision is to prepare the way for the coming of the Lord in the Galilee.
he two advents of Messiah are symbolized by the first and second miraculous fishing in the New Testament which are also prophetic of two revivals. The first revival, announced in Luke 5:1-10, took place 2000 years ago with the birth of the first church and the revival that followed. The second one, foretold in John 21 is yet to come in Israel.
Here is the significant difference between the two fishing. Let us compare the two following verses:
When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break.
Luke 5:6
And:
Simon Peter climbed aboard and dragged the net ashore. It was full of large fish, 153, but even with so many the net was not torn.
John 21:11
The condition of the nets is the main difference between these two miraculous fishing, between these two revivals. Besides, the fishing in John 21 has a special meaning. Jesus on the cross said “It is finished”. Then why would He do another miracle after His resurrection? We suggest that this fishing is not just a miracle, it is an end-time prophecy. Fishing in the New Testament is symbolical of the harvest of souls.
The Lord will prepare the hearts of the Israelis as He prepared the fish on the right side of the boat. There is one net and it is not torn. This presupposes that the net had been prepared and made solid. Spiritually there will be a time of great, serious preparation. Now is the time!
preparation
A. Prepare a place for the Lord to dwell in our midst
Before His coming Messiah Yeshua wants us to cover the land with worship. The Lord told us that a time is coming when true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. This is our vision for worship. We believe in vertical worship, involving the art in its various forms, including dance and banners. Worship is far more than another ingredient to our meetings. It not only purifies our soul, it also has the power, through the Holy Spirit to act in the heavenly realms and cleanse the spiritual atmosphere over our region. Our vision is to develop worship with other worship teams from the Galilee and from the nations.
B. Learning to seek His face and listen to His voice
In the end times we need to be clearly guided by the Holy Spirit and perceive His voice amidst all the noise and rumors of this world. Taking the time to spiritually listen is more and more important if we want to walk in His ways. Hence our monthly “Seeing God’s face meetings” which are a time of corporate deep communion with our Lord.
C. Prepare the ground in intercession
Prayer has taken more space in our fellowship. We are learning to approach God and bring our requests before His throne. Tiberias has been a hard ground to plough for the Gospel but it is being softened by several years of intercession.
D. Prepare the younger generation
The children and youth are often the enemy’s easy prey. The Messianic children evolve in an antagonist environment at school, in the army and they need to be properly equipped. On the other hand they need to know not only to defend themselves from the enemy’s spiritual onslaughts but also to develop their offensive weapons in order to pull other youth from the darkness to the light.
We also have in our hearts the proper relationships between parents and children (Mal. 4:6) and we do our utmost to provide tools that will help the families.
The strategy of our location
1 Nevertheless, there will be no more gloom for those who were in distress. In the past he humbled the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, but in the future he will honour Galilee of the Gentiles, by the way of the sea, along the Jordan–
2 The people walking in darkness have seen a great light; on those living in the land of the shadow of death a light has dawned.
Isa 9:1-2
For several reasons that it would be too long to expose here, we consider these verses to be a double prophecy. It was fulfilled 2000 years ago and will be fulfilled again before the second coming of Christ. We believe that the Galilee is again a territory of preparation for the coming of the Lord. An awakening will develop in the Galilee and spread south to Jerusalem, as it was 2000 years ago. We are part of the Body of Messiah today around the Sea of Galilee.
We are located in a valley that extends from the North of the Sea of Galilee past down town Tiberias, the settlements around the lake, Beth Shean, down south along the whole Jordan valley. We believe that it is strategically important to implant local messianic fellowships centers in this valley.
In Bible history this whole valley was the scene of crucial and extraordinary events which had a major influence on Israel and the rest of the world to this very day. Yet, it seems that, in the valley, the “holy sites” are the only reminders of what used to be a flourishing garden of the true messianic faith.
However God is not only the God of the hills but also the God of the valleys (1 Kings 20:28)! Our Lord Yeshua chose this valley to walk and minister to the Galileans during most of His ministry on earth.
Today, 2000 years later, we stand again with the same mandate to seek and save the lost sheep of the House of Israel and our Lord still has a plan of salvation for this region which He cherishes.
Our building
The Morning Star Messianic center is a base from which blessings will go forth to the community around us. This is why it is located in the center of the city. This strategic location symbolizes our desire to show Yeshua still alive in the midst of His people and king of kings in Tiberias. After 2000 years He is back in the Galilee, around the Sea of Galilee where He spent most of His ministry. He gave us the mandate and responsibility to let His light and love shine around in our area.
